    Abstract

This study involved the design of a mathematical model by identifying the characteristics of the core parts of an electric vehicle, and then analyzed the relationships between the parts. Furthermore, a dynamic model for electric vehicle was constructed using the model-based design method in accordance with the V-Model development process of the ISO 262262, which is an international standard for automotive safety. All the designed models were developed using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The dynamic characteristics of electric vehicles were analyzed through simulations.
